The game is afoot, and the list of suspects is long. The first teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery has been released, putting the spotlight on the incredible ensemble cast joining Daniel Craig for the third installment of the whodunit franchise. The trailer promises a story driven by powerful performances and deep secrets.
At the center of the mystery is an “impossible crime”: the murder of a priest, played by Josh Brolin, during a packed church service. This audacious killing sets the stage for Benoit Blanc’s most complex investigation yet, as he must determine who among the pious and the profane is a killer.
The film features a phenomenal cast, including Hollywood legend Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, and Josh O’Connor. Each actor brings their talent to what is sure to be a compelling and character-rich mystery. The trailer also showcases a new, dapper look for Benoit Blanc, complete with longer hair.
The film debuted to an eager audience at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6th. It is now scheduled for a limited theatrical run beginning November 26th, followed by a global streaming release on Netflix on December 12th.
