Toronto’s ARC World Festival Blends Culture, Sports, and Inspiration

Date:

This Saturday, Toronto’s Kerr Hall will be transformed by ARC World, a festival dedicated to celebrating Asian heritage. Organized by the Asian Roots Collective, the event offers a full day of cultural activities, from food and art to music and sports.
The centerpiece of the festival is a celebrity basketball game featuring Simu Liu and Jeremy Lin, whose presence is sure to energize the crowd and highlight the importance of representation.
In addition to the game, attendees can enjoy traditional Asian cuisine, explore contemporary art installations, and listen to speakers share stories of resilience and achievement. The festival aims to create a sense of community and encourage youth involvement.
Clement Chu, the organizer, emphasizes that ARC World is about more than just celebration—it’s about building bridges and inspiring future leaders. The Asian Roots Collective’s growth from a basketball club to a community center reflects its broader mission of empowerment.
