EarFun Unveils Wave Pro X Headphones, Expanding Market Presence at IFA 2026

Date:

At the IFA 2026 event in Berlin, EarFun, a prominent player in the wireless audio market, unveiled its latest flagship product, the Wave Pro X over-ear headphones. These headphones are distinguished by their dual-driver audio technology, a sophisticated hybrid active noise cancellation system, AI-driven processing, and an impressively long battery life. The Wave Pro X leverages EarFun’s innovative DCAA acoustic architecture, which incorporates two independently tuned dynamic drivers paired with high-purity voice coils. This configuration aims to deliver a broader soundstage while ensuring clarity and detail across various frequency ranges.

To tackle external noise, the Wave Pro X is equipped with an advanced noise cancellation system using an array of eight microphones. These work in conjunction with real-time processing to adapt to changing environmental conditions, effectively minimizing background noise as users enjoy their audio content. Battery longevity is another standout feature, with EarFun claiming up to 90 hours of playback on a single charge, or 50 hours when the noise cancellation feature is active. Additionally, a quick 15-minute charge can give users up to 10 hours of listening time, making it a convenient option for on-the-go users.

The design of the Wave Pro X also emphasizes user comfort and practicality, featuring foldable construction and memory-foam earcups for prolonged wear. Connectivity options are robust, including Bluetooth multipoint technology, which allows seamless switching between connected devices, and a 3.5mm wired connection that supports a hi-res bypass option. According to EarFun CEO White Wang, the product was meticulously developed to enhance multiple aspects such as sound quality, noise cancellation, and user comfort, rather than focusing on a single standout feature.

In addition to the Wave Pro X, EarFun provided a sneak peek at its forthcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. These earbuds are set to include refined sound tuning, active noise cancellation, and adaptive processing capabilities. For their development, EarFun has collaborated with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology business, tapping into their expertise for ANC modeling, tuning, and validation. More details regarding the specifications and availability of the Air Pro 5 are expected to be released soon.

As for availability, the EarFun Wave Pro X can be purchased globally through EarFun’s official website and Amazon. The pricing is set at €149.99, $129.99, and £119.99.
